Registration and Governance
We are a registered Community-Based Organization with the Brasilian government.
We have a Brasilian-run Board of Directors and an international advisory board.
Financial Accountability & International Support
To ensure our financial accountability, we provide our annual income and expenses in our annual report.
We have established a fiscal sponsorship partnership with ABC Foundation, allowing American and European donors to receive tax-deductibility for their donations.
Per Brasilian regulations, our financial statements are audited by a CPA annually.
Affiliations and Leadership Support
We are a registered affiliate of the International Association of Microfinance NGOs.
Our staff who work in financial training and program management have all been certified by Brasil's Microcredit Associate Certificate.
Our Executive Director ensures her ongoing leadership growth as an active trainee of Cultivate, a leadership and capacity building program for NGO leaders.
